Objective
Automatic pressure control of a hydraulic disc brake as part of a vibro-acoustic research test bench.
Problematic Issues
The proposed equipment must be :
- compatible with the mineral fluid used
- compatible with the low volumes of fluids moved
- silent.
Solution and Result
The proposed equipment is designed to generate a static pressure on a hydraulic fluid from an analogue setpoint supplied by the customer, in order to control the pressure of a disc brake system on a test bench.
The equipment consists of :
- 1 static pressure generator
- 1 central cable for connecting the generator and fitted with a pressure gauge
- 1 output strand
- 1 control unit.
The pressure generator consists of a plunger piston driven by an electric servo cylinder linked to a pressure sensor. The pressure is regulated by the movement of the plunger piston, which compresses the fluid in a chamber.
The control unit is remote on a console; The control interface, custom-developed by our programmers, displays actual and set pressure in real time.
