Static and cyclic pressure test benches for pipes and ducts
This test bench is designed to perform cyclic pressure tests in water.

Main functions
This test bench is designed to perform cyclic water pressure tests on one or more products simultaneously. It simulates water hammer in piping systems, or tests (accelerated) aging of components. It checks for leaks by pressure drop or flow detection. It can also be used to carry out pressure tests on components subject to specific legislation.
The shape of the load curves can be parameterized. The number of test cycles and their sequence can be programmed.
Air purging is automatic and verified by system stiffness measurement.
Operating mode
Find out how our static and cyclic pressure test bench works for piping and ducting.
The aim of a test is to apply static pressure cycles, according to a trapezoidal profile, in a more or less elastic product.
- Sample installation and clamping
- Connection of supply hose and drain hose
- Software setup / program selection
- Launching the test scenario
- Automatic purging, servo-controlled cycling, automatic leakage monitoring
- Recording test results
Benefits of LifeTube
Volume sensor
This sensor optimizes stroke positioning and monitors water volume.
Leak detection
The sink drain is fitted with a drip sensor to stop the test if a leak is detected.
Energy saving
Only 10% of the required instantaneous power is installed.
