SOLUTION AND RESULT
The crash test bench consists of a stainless steel frame topped by a sink. The pump body under test is inserted into a closed circuit in which the test fluid circulates. It is connected to the sink.
A plunger piston is inserted into the circuit to reduce its volume and build up pressure. Servo-control is based on a pressure sensor measurement. The pressure build-up stops when the set point is reached, or when the product is destroyed.
A custom-designed system ensures very high pressure heating.
Test pressures and temperatures are high. To protect operators in the event of product breakage, the machine is equipped with protection devices such as :
- Safety glass cover
- Safety pressure switch
- Thermostats along the circuit prevent overheating
- Emergency stop line
- Level switch
The test bench is equipped with intuitive, easy-to-use supervision software, enabling any operator to use the equipment.
